Now, let me give you some overall measurements just to give you an idea of the size of the air conditioner unit itself. Beginning with the length, measuring from back to front, we are sitting right at 34 13/16 inches long, and then the overall width at the widest point, we are sitting right at 27 9/16 inches wide, and then the overall height, measuring at the tallest point here, we are sitting right at 13 9/16 inches tall. Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to replace your old worn out rooftop AC unit with the Everchill RV air conditioning rooftop unit. So if you're out camping this summer and you realize that your unit's just really not keeping up anymore it's not really producing the same amount of cold air or maybe it's just running really hard or just doesn't wanna work at all. This is where it is the time to upgrade and replace your rooftop unit with the Everchill. Along with that this is going to only replace the rooftop unit. So you're still gonna be able to use your air distribution box and your wall thermostat so that you don't have to get into the hassle of pulling out wires, running new wires or drilling any new holes. This is going to include your A/C unit, your plenum, and your thermostat, so you've got just about everything you need to get it installed. You will need a few screws to get some things mounted and you'll also need some wiring to get it hooked up if you don't have an existing unit to reuse its original wiring.There are two different kits available. One with a 14,500 BTU unit and one with a 15,500 BTU unit, so you can choose the most appropriate one for the size of your application you'll be installing it in. What's going to set this vent assembly apart from others is the sleek design, the wall mounted thermostat. Some of the other ones are going to be bulky, they're going to hang down, and they're going to have a thermostat built in, which can be nice; however, you're going to have to reach up every time you want to set it. The screens are pretty small on them. If it's like this one and is mounted over top of the bed, you're either going to have to stretch over the bed or you're going to have to climb on the bed to get it. You're going to be taking a look at Advent Air rooftop RV air conditioner, part number ACM135.You can see its very nice, sleek look. It's got a nice thick cover on it to keep the elements out. It's going to have a cooling capacity of 13,500 BTU per hour, so it's really going to cool your RV down fast and keep it that way. You can hear the AC unit running. It's pretty quiet.The dimensions of the whole unit are going to be 24 and 7/8, by 31 and 3/16, by 12 and 13/16. This unit is only going to weigh approximately 68 pounds, and it's going to require an opening in your roof that's 14 and 1/4 by 14 and 1/4.One thing that's really great about this air conditioner is it's not going to take any additional sealer to go around our hole. more
